Privacy policy

What's On Vegas has no accounts, no sign-up forms, no ads and sets no cookies of its own. We count page views without cookies, our host keeps short-lived server logs, and the tools in AI apps receive only what they need to answer, such as dates or a hotel name. Last updated 7 November 2026.

Who we are

What's On Vegas (whatsonvegas.com) is run by GJ Consultancy BV (company number BE 1004.668.887), Kammenstraat 43/B301, 2000 Antwerpen, Belgium. That company is the controller of any personal data described here. To ask a question or make a request, write to us at that address.

What we collect, and why

Browse the siteVercel Web Analytics counts page views: the page, the referring site, your browser, device type and country. It sets no cookies and uses no browser storage, and it does not identify you. When you follow a link to another site, we count the click (the site it leads to and the page you were on), with nothing about you.Seeing which pages helpAggregated counts
Request any page or toolOur host, Vercel, keeps standard request logs: the time, the address requested, the response, your IP address and browser.Keeping the site running and secureAs set by Vercel, typically a few days
Follow a link to another siteWe add tags to the address of the site you go to (utm_source=whatsonvegas.com, a medium and the section of our site), so that site sees the visit came from us. The tags hold nothing about you.Letting venues and hotels see we sent them visitorsWe store nothing
Follow a booking linkSome hotel booking links may earn us a commission. They are marked rel="sponsored" in the page code. The booking site may set its own cookies under its own policy. We would receive only commission totals, never your name, booking or payment details.Paying for the siteWe store nothing
Use the live mapYour choice of units is saved in your browser (wov-units). Creator mode records its clip in your browser; the clip never reaches us. Your browser loads map tiles, the map library, fonts, weather and flight-route details directly from the providers listed below.Showing the map the way you set itUntil you clear your browser data
Use our tools in an AI app (ChatGPT, Claude, Meta Muse or another MCP client)Only what the app sends for a tool to answer: dates, an event, hotel or loyalty programme name. Your IP address is held in memory for one minute to apply a rate limit. We get no name, email, account or conversation, and we do not save the tool inputs. Vercel keeps the request logs described above.Answering the request and preventing abuseNot stored by us. IP address: one minute, in memory

We don't sell personal data, share it for advertising, or build profiles of visitors.

Legal basis

Our legitimate interest in running a secure, useful site and measuring which pages help, and providing the answer you asked for when you use our tools in an AI app.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by writing to the address above. We'll reply within 30 days. In practice we hold almost nothing that identifies you: no accounts, no names, no email addresses. You can also complain to your data protection authority; in Belgium that is the Data Protection Authority.
